Gorean Photo Exhibition events in Ichrak will follow principles as below

1. Events will encourage gorean photographers to show their talents in gorean community.
2. Events should NOT damage photographer's reputation but improve it.
3. Events aim to create friendly learning environment among Gorean photographers, sharing experience and skill. 
4. Events aim to improve photographer's business, not damage it (welcome more creative ideas) 
5. photographers might get business request through event, to avoid price competition. DISCUSSING BUSINESS THROUGH EVENTS IS NOT ALLOWED but photographers can book appt. with clients and discuss outside of events. 
6. please write a short introduction about yourself (less 50 words, about your name,  your owner's      name if you are slave, homestone city,  and your passion about photography) .

My experience at PhotoHunt: First time around.

I recently had the greatest time that I was able to take an hour of my day in SL and spend it at at the Photohunt accepting the challenge that I have not ever done before. Ultimaetly it was a great experience and you can see more of it here (watch for the red head in the sexy outfit... that's me!)

Find your inner vamp in our fun new Flickr photo contest! You will need to have a flickr account and join the Illuminati Domus:Paradise Lost flickr group in order to enter (see below for details). You don't have to be a vampire in order to enter our contest, and you can take your inspiration from legend, novels, films, whatever you wish. Be creative and have fun! Your photo must be taken at Paradise Lost and include vampires as its theme, in order to be eligible to enter the contest.

How to enter
1. Take photos of yourself and/or others in a vampire theme on Paradise Lost island, and post them in the Illuminati Domus:Paradise Lost Flickr group:

You must sign up to flickr.com in order to be able to do this (this is very easy and takes only a couple of minutes, it's free and all you need is an email address - you can use your SL name for this if you need to make a new email address). It is also free to save your pictures from Second Life onto your computer hard drive. You may enter as many times as you wish and the contest is open to everyone in SL.

*All entrants must follow these rules otherwise they will be disqualified.*

2. Photo editing is allowed, but not essential. Experiment with SL's shadows, depth of field and windlight effects at your leisure and take the most imaginative and creative shots of Paradise Lost Vampires that you can. If you want to try editing, you can download GIMP editing software for free at https://www.download-free.com/photo-editor?source=ga. You can also use www.picmonkey.com to edit work quickly and easily.

3. Your pics can be in any style you wish, as long as they are to do with vampires, use your imagination! Will you be Count Dracula, an ancient Egyptian Vampire, a modern vampire?!
NB - The roleplaying Vampires in the Illuminati Domus family are "enlightened" vampires who try to fight against their evil origins, they never bite anyone who has not shown an interest in being bitten! But anyone can enter this contest and dress up as Paradise Lost vampires or find some vampires to take photos of!

NB: The photos can include any vampire themes, and do have fun, but please, don't include anything that could be described as pornographic or that contains too much gore!! (The flickr group is not an "over 18" group - subtle nudity or blood trickles are allowed, if you have any questions, please contact me.)

4. The title for your contest entry to Flickr should be:
"Paradise Lost Vampires - Contest Entry" - you can add a subtitle as well if you wish. If you don't include this as your title, your entry will not be accepted for the contest.

5. Only the three winning photographers who enter on flickr will receive the prizes. If you choose to share your prize with the person/people in the photograph/s this is up to you. The Judges' decision is final.

6. The closing date is final, anything submitted after this time will not be accepted.

7. The winning photos will be chosen by a panel of judges. By entering the contest you agree to allow Illuminati Domus to display your work on Paradise Lost Island.

A wise old man said once that a photo is worth more then 1000 words, now it is your  opportunity  to show how you see the wonderful world we live in.

Now it is your chance of showing the inner artist that live inside your belly and heart.

There will be two categories:

1.  The best picture in D/s.
2.  The most amusing picture.

The rules are simple and easy for all :

2. You can use Photoshop or any other graphic program you  wish , but the background  must be of the sim . (we have  beautiful  sim , lets show it ) . 
3. Rename the picture with name of the author and get  permission from other people who are included in the picture to display it and send it to klaudia langer with full rights (copy, modify, transfer). 
4. One can send pictures to both categories but only one picture per category. 
5. Pictures can be send to klaudia langer until the 25th of   March 2012 . 
6.  Be creative and show the beauty of yourself and the sim  around.  

             
Contest lasts from 25th of February till 25th of March, then there will be voting process which will last one week.

PRIZES - you can win both money (so far we have 1200ls to split and we are getting more and more) and many valuable items.

Taste Her Secrets Photo Contest

***Requirements***
- one of these three things is a requirement: you *MUST* be wearing an outfit from TASTE that is visible in your photo and/or you must be posed on the TASTE Encore ~ Burlesque dance stool or TASTE Encore ~ Captivate dance pole.
- you *MUST* be wearing lingerie or a bikini (yes a taste croset dress is ok).
- you may have a photographer take your photo, but there are to be no logos, names, words, shapes or frames added to your entries
- failure to comply with the above will result in disqualification and fees will not be refunded.
- A photoback drop and appropriate props from TASTE have been set up for you at Secrets of her on the backstage.

1. Entering
    - Each entry is L$200 and is non-refundable
    - By entering you agree to allow Secrets of Her and taste to display your picture for the duration of the contest or until we take it down
    -  You can use more than one photo board to participate in the contest. Only the highest
        vote count will be considered on winner selection. It can be an advantage to occupy more than one board
        but also a disadvantage. You choose the strategy. But please, be considerate: others want to participate
        as well.
    -People caught cheating will immediately be removed by the owner/host without notice or refunds.
     -   Anyone trying to manipulate the contest or disturbing it by their actions will be removed and banned.
    -   The contest host's decisions are always final and there is no discussion about their decisions.

2. Joining
    - You can join by paying the required $200L join fee to an empty photo board. The photo board will try to load your profile picture and display it. Once loaded, you can now change it by loading  another photo/texture into it. In order to do that, hold down the CTRL key and drag a picture from your inventory onto the photo board while holding down the left mouse button. The frame will highlight to red and you can release
the left mouse button. The picture/texture has to be FULLPERM (also for next owner - see bottom of properties page)
due to technical reasons. If done properly the picture will be displayed and the photo board changes to voting mode.

Changing your picture
-------------------------
To change your picture, touch the sign and you will receive a menu with some options:
    - Load Picture:     Changes the photo board to picture loading mode. Update your picture by following
                                    the instructions above.
                                    Touch to keep the picture and  to proceed to voting mode again. (This will happen
                                    automatically after 2 minutes as well).
    - Profile Picture:  Tries to load you profile picture onto the photo board. After that it will change to the
                                     "Picture Loading mode". Touch to keep the picture and to proceed to voting
                                    mode again. (This will happen automatically after 2 minutes as well).
                                    If you have disabled "show in search" in your profile, the system will not be able to
                                    acquire your profile picture. On change it will take up to 24 hours until it will be available.
    - Close Menu:       Closes the menu with no action
    - Abandon:            Abandon will close the photo board and remove yourself from the contest.
                                    Attention: No refunds!
                                   
Voting
-------------------------
You can vote by paying the assigned voting fee of L$25 per vote. There is a max of 5 votes per avatar per day. The board will tell you how much votes are left each time you vote for a person. You can NOT vote for yourself. In case of a voting fee the payed amount will NOT be paid back if you try to
vote for yourself! Voting fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Winner selection
-------------------------
The owner/host decides when they will close the contest and select a winner at the end of February.
The current 5 top voted are listed on the main display along with their current votes.
The L$3,000 prize will be split to the top three contestants as 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize. On a draw (same amount of votes) there will
be no split of the prize amount - the system internally selects who of them will be 1st or 2nd (e.g. 2nd or 3rd).
The first ranked person will also win TASTE Tempation ~ Petal and the chance to pose for an ad in a SL magazine for taste (please note that taste reserves the right to require you change your hair and/or shape or anything else about your avatar for the purpose of modeling. Failure to agree to do so will result in a runner-up being chosen to model).
The winner names will be announced in open chat and also displayed on the Photo Contest System.

{Ms. B. Designs} Monthly Photocontest!!!

A monthly event starting on first day of month and ending last day of month.


Rules are as follows:

1. Create a unique photograph of you and a friend, posing on one of my FULL PRICED Bratty poses.  (Sorry folks, no more freebie poses or discounts because I'm putting my past hunt items in the discount section and I can't prove if you bought it or got it as a freebie).  Photoshop it, bedazzle it, paint it on an oil canvas, or just turn it in the way you shot it, I don't care... I'm looking for something that speaks to me and it doesn't matter if you're a professional wizard at photo editing or not.  Simply said...inspire me!
2. Use only 1 pose in the shot... as a winner, I'm going to use your photo for my vendor ad, I need it to depict a single pose, not multiples.  If you'd like to use the same pose, but a different angle Photoshopped into another part of your creation...that's fine, just please make it the same pose as the one in the foreground.
3. Photo must be your own creation...please don't steal.
4. Photo size is not important, but I must be able to see the details that make your entry completely yours.
5. Open to anyone, you don't have to be a member of my group (I hate places that do that). I know your group slots are precious, so I won't "make" you be part of mine.  However if you wish to join, I'd love to have you. Although winners will be announced via my Group notices...so if you enter and you leave the group, you may not see who the winners are.
6. Contest runs from the 1st to the end of the month.  No entries will be accepted after 12am the 1st of the next month SLT.
7. My IM's and everything else cap daily... so I'm accepting entries via Notecard placed in my mailbox at either the Mainstore or Carrie's Lingerie Mall.  DO NOT... I repeat... DO NOT send them directly to me. I will not be accepting them personally, yes that means you have to put it in the mailbox. Slide your entry into the Mailbox prim, it will be safe there and SL can't eat it as it's so fond of doing to things sent directly to me.  If it's not in the mailbox, you're not entered...sorry folks, just the way it's got to be. 
8. Include your Full Second Life name, NOT your display name, so that I can find you (entries without a name will be ignored, I'm sorry, I don't have time to chase you)
9. List the name of the pose used in the shot
10. ((TO FIND MY MAILBOX: Mainstore: as soon as you land, face the couch at the front of the store,  look to your right at the doorway, next to the contest board.  There are four little prims that say: Mailbox, Flickr, Marketplace, and Blog.  Carrie's Mall Location: Mailbox Prim is just inside the door to the right))
11. You can enter as many photos as you like, but you must use a different pose in each.
12. Nudity is allowed, hell, I do it, but make it tasteful please, pfft...whom I kidding...go hog wild!
13. A minimum of 10 entries must be received for me to consider that month valid.  However, if any particular month, I do not get enough entries, those that have entered will be rolled over to the next month until I have 10 entries.

OK...that's more than enough rules...here's the prize.

1. Winning shot will be posted in my shop as the vendor picture of that pose until such time as I decide I need a change, but at least for 1 month.
2. Winning photographer will have a pose designed for them and named either after them, or they can choose the name of the pose if they'd rather.  Vendor pic will be shot by me with the winner and any friend of their choosing as models and photo edited (I don't normally edit my vendor pics) into a portrait for them. I will ask the winner for ideas of what they'd like the pose to look like or be inspired by and do my best to create their special moment.
3.  Also, the prize for first place (there's only 1st place) is $500L in cash.

I am the only judge and my friends are not eligible to join.  I'm looking for something that makes me laugh, or think, or gasp, or moan... yeah, whatever.  It's NOT a popularity contest.

D & R Photo Exhibits

Set up your own photos in your own exhibit space!

Photos will be judged only,  no voted part.

Diamonds will be themed, using the same themes planned for the 2012 Diamonds photo contests.  However, there is NO requirement for photos to be "in theme."

Rubies will usually have open themes for now.

Prizes will include

Judging takes place for both Rubies and Diamonds from the 24th - 26th of the month.

Invitations Extended

I have extended quite a few invitations to the group not only in world but to many of those who are active that I know out of world. Currently we are working on building the database and obtaining the listings of the contests.  At this time, we are waiving the $100L fee in order to make sure this works for all of us as this is in the baby stages.  Please, pass it forward!  The invitation is open to all photo contests and to all photographers of all dynamics and levels.  I hope to see this idea spread a bit to help the creative spirits that run rampant in SecondLife.
